Tracking Systems and Constructions

Our double-axis trackers are based on tried-and-true reliable design allowing for various adjustments and operational flexibility. The construction has been engineered to require minimum maintenance and operate fully automatically. The construction is projected as a separate entity carrying 16 (tracker type D16) or 30 monocrystalline Phono Solar panels for the D30 tracker.

The main reason for the implementation of double-axis tracking systems is a possible increase of up to 30% of energy generated by the system with the investment increase required being only 50% compared to fixed constructions. The construction is made of corrosion resistant steel and its motion is secured by two electric motors governed by central logic unit.  According to information obtained by solar sensors this unit coordinates panel surface tracking in accordance with the motion of the Sun.  The logic unit is fed by the ordinary network system with a voltage of 230V. Tracker engines usually operate only 30-45 minutes a day. Their energy consumption is only 0,030 kWh – 0,045 kWh. The tracker durability exceeds 25 years.

    Reliability and independent checking

    The tracking system is equipped with programmable logoc controller PLC. This controller reacts adequately to any change in the environment, be it a change in the position of the tracker in accordance with the motion of the Sun, or setting the system to safe mode due to strong wind, dangerously high temperature etc.

    Easy to install, low energy consumption, minimum maintenance required

    The tracking system engines operate approxaimately 30–45 minutes a day (depends on the ambient conditions). The average self-consumption of the tracker is then only 60–75 Wh. All parts of the tracker word trouble-free as a result of which durability of over 25 years has been achieved.  The logic unit is supplied by the ordinary network system with a voltage of 230V. Propulsion of the engines is secured by linear DC engines with wormdrive. For this reason the tracking system requires only minimum maintenance. System guarantee period is 20 years.
